What are the factors related to inductance of the air core inductor? And what is its formula for calculating?
I.The formula for calculating inductance of the air core inductor:
First make a small cylinder with the paper, and then wind the inductance coil on the cylinder to make the air core inductor.
The calculation formula for the air core inductance is: L(mH)=(0.08D.D.N.N)/(3D+9W+10H)
D——coil diameter
N——number of coil turns
d—–wire diameter
H—-coil height
W—-coil width
II. The calculation formula of air core inductance coil:
For circular air core, the following formula can be used: (IRON)
L=N²*AL
L= inductance value (H)
N= Number of coil turns (turns)
AL =initial inductance
III.What are the factors related to inductance of the air core inductor?
The inductance of the air core inductor mainly depends on the number of coil turns , the magnetic flux of the magnet and the winding method. How to increase the inductance? Inductance L=N²/Magnetic resistance Rm. With the same number of coil turns (N) ,if you want to increase the inductance (L),you need to reduce the magnetic resistance (Rm), and Rm=the length of the coil (h)/relative permeability(u)*coil area(s).Therefore, three ways to increase the inductance(that is,to reduce the magnetic resistance Rm)
1: Reduce the length of coil (Arranged the coils tightly)
2: Increase the coil area (Please note that it is not the wire area).
3: Increase the permeability (Replace the magnetic core -the relative permeability of a certain material can be known from the comparison table)
Summary: The above is about what factors are related to the inductance of air core inductor?
I hope it will be helpful for you!
